Two orderly books kept by British Marines at Halifax, Nova Scotia. The first volume dates June 3-August 8, 1776 and was kept by the 27th (or Inniskilling) Regiment of Foot, commanded by Major General Eyre Massey. This fragmentary volume records the activities of the 1st and 2nd Battalions of Marine Guards.
